Eco Education is a Minneapolis organization that offers environmental education programs for young people and training for others in how to do the same. This organization has been around for 20 years and has a program, Ecoharvest that partners youth with a farm company to grow food for a school lunch program, a restaurant, and a food shelf. The mission of Eco Education moves me and is as follows:
Fostering within young people the appreciation, knowledge, values and skills necessary to inspire ecologically sound decisions and actions.
What more could we hope for our children and ourselves?
